About the Author

Melody has searched her entire life for a career that would hold her interest for more than a few years. Writing has been her passion since the second grade, but it never seemed to be a practical option for earning a living.

She has been a waitress, a small business owner, and pursued a degree in elementary education while raising four children. Melody is now devoted full time to writing, due in large part to the support of her husband and the encouragement of her son, who is an avid fan (and critic) of her work.
